The 2017 is certainly a step up in power. Vinified for a short time in barrel, without batonnage, it's a deep and powerful yet also incredibly mineral and structured wine. The nose is rocky and closed and the palate is superb delicious, powdery, racy and crunchy. It's tightly wound yet
