Constructed of bronzed magnetic iron, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a ribbon defaced by a shield bearing two wrestlers, surrounding a central barbell overlaid by an NSRL style German national eagle overlaid by a mobile swastika, the reverse with a clip hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flattened catch, engraved with a recipients surname of
