Franke Harling, William - Signed Photo & Letter Signed 1949 Miscellaneous Items Josef Marx and Hugo WolfAmerican composer (1887 1958), writer of film scores, operas and popular music. Harling won the 1939 Academy Award for Best Music (Scoring) for Stagecoach (1939 film) and was nominated for Three souls at Sea in 1937 and Three Russian Girls in 1944. Signed photo, inscribed. Stamped on verso by photographer Nicholas Haz. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in very good condition. It is also included a signed letter with his own letterhead, dated 1949.
