Votes for Women Apron Bathroom dried tropical fruitPart of our new "Votes for Women" range designed by Kent based artist Esther Johnson, this thick cotton apron with contrasting purple neck and waist ties tells the story of the UK suffrage movement through a series of evocative illustrations, mottos and slogans. Aprons, including makeshift ones formed from posters and placards, were often worn by women of the suffrage movement as a canvas for political messages and to advertise the date and location
