Lantern - Goldfinch Bird On Blossom christmas an external pocket large enoughI love Goldfinches and wanted to combine their beautiful colours with a more contemporary background colour. This design features a Goldfinch on yellow blossom and it reminds of Japan. Once lit with a tea light (I use battery operated LED tea lights) they provide a lovely glow but also look equally pleasing un lit. All my lantern designs are prints taken from my original embroideries and are printed onto unbleached linen and highlighted, in places
