Lampshade- ‘Hay Making Time' with cut out windows. ice cream A raw edge applique practiceStreet scene lampshade featuring nine colourful townhouses nestled beneath the hills. It's hay making time and the roads are busy. This is a colourful, high resolution print (onto unbleached linen) taken from my original embroidery. I have added stitch work onto the print to highlight particular areas and also hand stamped lots of little windows to allow additional light through. It is hand rolled onto a cream laminate to create a warm glow when lit.
