Kelsey Murphy is a WV artist who is able to do the unthinkable in the world of cameo carving carve more than five layers of glass. Some of her pieces even contain up to twelve layers of glass. Cameo glass carving is a technique that requires great skill and patience to achieve remarkable results. Murphy hand carves layers of glass using pressurized aluminum oxide crystal.
