Another La Nina and too much rain at the end of season started an outbreak of Botrytis

the sweetness  dissipates quickly as the lovely acidity takes over and delivers the longest finish

Both these varieties have some similarities and complimentary differences

With a little more knowledge of this variety we have produced a blend of Mencia and Pinot Noir

this has delivered  added texture and pallet weight

2022 Pinot Noir SOLD OUT Rose Another La Nina and tooThis wine has a funky gamy character that leads to a compote of red fruits with a dusting of spice. The palate is fleshy and full of raspberries and strawberries, with an enduring finish of fine tannin and natural acidity. We continue to do a partial Carbonic maceration with this wine which lifts the aromas and gives fleshy fruit characters. Unfiltered, no additions or finings, a Natural wine that is Vegan friendly.
