Nikka Frontier Volume:50ml Delicious long and slightly dry
Description
Delicious long and slightly dry finish
you might think they've mistakenly filled the bottle with Loch Gorm
and the influence of prolonged oak aging
} A rare and complex blended malt whisky combining whisky from Chichibu Distillery with remaining stocks from Ichiro’s grandfather’s Hanyu Distillery
each coopered with a specific balance of both char and toast - with the latter being unusual in the realm of distilling where the lower heat and longer duration toasting process penetrates further into the oak of the cask and offers an entirely different level of complexity than casks that only feature a more traditional char
Nikka Frontier Volume:50ml Delicious long and slightly dryNikka Frontier is Nikkas first new whisky brand in four years, following the release of Nikka Session. Its core component is a heavily peated Yoichi malt, making up at least 51% of the blend. As for the remaining 49%, its likely a mix of Ben Nevis and Nikkas grain whisky. While the exact breakdown remains undisclosed, the quality at this price point speaks for itself. Nose: Floral notes with a hint of malt driven funk, reminiscent of classic Yoichi
