Ryokuei (Fresh Green) Seiji Sano Sheet number: 6/80The dramatic Stencil print "Ryokuei" (Fresh Green) is by Kan Kawada (1927 1999). Very striking print. Japanese title "Ryokuei", dated '90, sheet number 11 68, signed by hand on the bottom margin. Sprinkled with metallic mica flakes on the green colors as shown. Very lovely. Kan Kawada was originally "Katazome" (Stencil dyeing) artist, however, he created many beautiful stencil prints like this. He is a well known artist, especially outside Japan.
