من خلال إجراء بحث تاريخي، بالإضافة إلى العمل الميداني، تمكنا من تسجيل أكثر من 450 طاحونة تعمل بالفيضانات الموسمية أو التدفق الدائم للمياه من الينابيع والأنهار في معظم أرجاء فلسطين
كان قرار القاوقجي عزل قائد الحامية عادل نجم الدين وتعيين ميشيل العيسى مكانه الرصاصة الأخيرة في جسد الحامية
