Bar 1661 ocean of possibility Frank ZappaBar 1661 opened its doors in 2019 and within a few short years (including being closed during the Covid pandemic) it was winner of Ireland's Bar of the Year 2022. Based in the heart of Dublin 7, it is named after the year Poitn as we know it was banned. The ethos of owner Dave Mulligan is deeply rooted in the promotion of Irish Poitn through cocktail culture.
