Wooden Storage Box with Gold Paintings w180 The tapered profile and panelledGansu, circa 1920 This lovely little wooden box still has its old paintings of a fish and flowers on the front to symbolise wealth and status, as well as chinese characters above, all contrasting against the reddish brown lacquer. The brass fastening clasp is a recent addition.
