This is a rare Japanese fireman's jacket from the Edo Meiji Era roughly between 1860 1910s. It is found in the Nigata, Nagaoka region of Japan. Indigo dyed and also reversible, so you can wear it inside out as well. Done by sashiko stitch and also Tsutsugaki hand drawing in the inside. This is a one of a kind design.
