They are stamped exactly like the originals from cold rolled steel and are intended to be welded in place to repair rusted holes or holes that have been torn thru. I have had one customer just use them as a washer over the top of his damaged hole to resolve his issue, but I recommend cutting out the damage and welding these in place. Round versions
