Antique (c. 1890) Japanese Kashizara Dish Plate Wood Red Lacquer Makie 7" Chinese These jars very often didThis is an antique (c. 1890) Meiji era Japanese lacquer kashizara plate. This is all hand turned cryptomeria wood with over 20 thin coats of Japanese red lacquer with makie (raised gold) art work (see picture 5). This plate has been stored in its original storage box (see last picture box is not included). Having been in storage for over a century, with exception to very minor signs of past use (see picture , this kashizara plate remains in good
