Grounded POC Artist in a distant placeThe concept of the mind body connection, and the inherent tension within it, served as the inspiration for this piece. I believe that nature has the power to ground us and foster connections between our disparate parts. For me, birds have always been a potent symbol of freedom and flight, and so I chose to incorporate them into the design.
