The stone is set into hand sculpted proprietary material, etched, painted and then sealed with a high gloss glaze to protect the finish. Because the back was not completely smooth given the modication, I added a piece of metallic gold upholstery to protect your clothing from abrasions. The pendant measures 6" in height and 2. 5" in width
