不規則に揺らぐ線が炎のように見えます。

華文の装飾をつけた亀甲文様を織り出した大島紬。

吉祥紋様である松竹梅に加え、楓は季節によって色を変えることから「世渡り上手」、菊は古くから貴族や武家で使用されてきたことから「高貴」の意味を持つおめでたい文様です。
