I have to confess I’m not the greatest fan of Professor Adams’ work

Even without a comical figure to point us to a punchline this little study of industrial buildings still manages to exude his humour

His work is sometimes associated with the Glasgow Boys and their circle - indeed

At one level of appreciation this is a  beautifully painted figurative work by a leading nineteenth century Swedish artist

we are still very lucky to have an association with his family and are able to offer works from his estate from time to time
