We visit Seattle every year for our embroidery parties and we are always inspired by the Pacific Northwest artwork that we see all over the area

We simply created the quilt and then embroidered each block using designs from the collection

We keep a running list of ideas and inspiration and when it is time for one of our art meetings we always refer to this list first before we assign new collections. Nautical has been on that list for about 5 years, every time we tried to conceptualize the art we never liked the way it turned out. Our new artist Carol did a brilliant job with this collection on her first attempt.
