This bowl remains in very fine condition and measures 6" in diameter by 2" tall (15 x 5 cm)
This is a unique Chinese ornate Cloisonné box with a hinged lid
They are decorated in combination of printed background and hand painted floral motif
with the exception of some sun bleaching and minor dents
Antique Japanese Clothing Tansu Taisho Era c1920's Ishodansu Kiri Paulownia Chest 36"W Lacquer 1920-1970)This in an antique Japanese Taisho era c. 1920's three piece clothing chest or Ishodansu. Designed originally for kimono, obi and accessories. In all there are 5 drawers in two sizes, one cabinet with sliding doors and another with three pullout shelves. Made of Kiri wood (paulownia) on the face and exterior case is made with sugi (Japanese cedar) on the interior. A key is included for the operable drawer locks. Cabinet door lock is not operable.
