Albino Rocca: Piemonte Cortese - La Rocca - 2024 import alongside BramaterraThe 100% Cortese grown in the southwestern area of Barbaresco is fermented in French barriques. The vines, about 30 years old, are planted on an approximately 1 hectare area with calcareous clay soil. One of the best known wines made from this grape variety is called Gavi, named after the region. However, here it is simply called Cortese, named after its grape.
