These small pieces of cacao are traditionally grown in the chakra forest gardens of the Kichwa communities in Napo. There the cocoa trees grow in mixed culture protected under the roof of the Amazon. After harvesting, the cocoa beans are fermented, gently dried and crushed without any additives or roasting. The result: 100 % pure
