'Helios Necklace' von Elisabeth Schotte Flensted 'Bold Bangle'The coin pendant of the 'Helios Necklace' was recreated from a hemidrachm, a small silver coin from Rhodes from 250 229 BC. The obverse shows the radiant head of Helios, the reverse a hibiscus flower. Helios was of great importance in antiquity as the god and personification of the sun. He was considered an omniscient witness and played an important role in mythology. Berlin based designer Elisabeth Schotte creates delicate, narrative pieces of
