Merlot - Pilato 2015 Muskat Bijeli Origin & soil: Carnuntum wine-growingThe harvest is weather dependent and takes place at the end of September. After fermentation, the wine matures for 14 months in a combination of large wooden barrels and small barriques. The wine is ruby red, full of fruity flavor. The taste is dominated by currants, plums, black cherries, Mediterranean herbs. Rounded off with soft, pleasant tannins that make it a preferred "partner" in the blend with other black varieties.
