the hoist edge featuring a hollow channel through which is looped an original drawstring culminating at each end in a magnetic metal hook for suspension
with a shield bearing the monogram of Tsar Boris III (reign: 1918-1943) at the top
Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1939 Iron Cross I Class, by Steinhauer & Lück United Republic of A 1st Class Air Defence(Eisernes Kreuz 1939 II. Klasse). Reinstituted 1 September 1939. (1939 1945 issue). Constructed of iron and silver, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six oclock arm with a reinstitution date of 1939, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flattened and rounded catch, the pinback maker marked with Prsidialkanzlei code 4 for Steinhauer & Lck, with characteristics of the firms Type A
