Fowles Stone Dwellers Sparkling Pinot Noir NV savignin with a firm finish
Description
with a firm finish
but it’s nice to see iterations where the fruit is expressed in a more savoury light
Deep and dark fruit aromatics that never-the-less cannot but help display a late summer’s playfulness
A tribute to the wines made in the 1920's by legendary Hunter Valley winemaker Maurice O'Shea and a wine to showcase our sites and the season
Made from a vineyard located at Lobethal in the Adelaide Hills at 480 metres altitude in soils of quartz and mica schist on weathered sandstone on a north-facing slope
Fowles Stone Dwellers Sparkling Pinot Noir NV savignin with a firm finishWinemaking This wine was fermented at 15C in stainless steel tanks to preserve primary fruit flavours. Pinot noir, a traditional grape of Champagne is used in this wine, however we employ the methods used to make Prosecco to create a fresher style of sparkling wine that really shows off the bright fruit flavours of this wonderful varietal.
