I had just read about a technique called Stack and Whack but the shapes (hexagons and octagons) seemed too busy for me. I decided to simplify the basic shape and see where it took me. I love the result. The secondary pinwheel design adds a hint of movement and, even using the same fabric, each quilt can be unique through the placement of the blocks.
