An extremely well preserved HJ Sommermtze (summer field cap), also known as a Lagermtze (camp cap), constructed of beige cotton. It is surrounded by decorative side panels which are fully trimmed along the top edge with a length of red cotton piping. Stitched onto the peak is a machine embroidered silver grey HJ style German national eagle clutching a wreathed black mobile swastika, measuring 35 mm (w) x 30 mm (h). Directly below the
