Originally just a two piece, the band expanded their lofi sound into a full band in 2007 with the addition of three new members. It was this early full band era that most people came to know as Tigers Jaw, unwieldy and melodic with moments of joy screamed over an organ. The band released their debut self titled full length on CD on local label Prison Jazz Records in 2008. It was quickly released
