An extremely well preserved NSKK field cap, constructed of black wool twill. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panelling, tightly scalloped at the front in accordance with second pattern regulations instituted in 1939. The left side of the crown bears an insignia in the form of a light blue triangle, overlaid by a silver aluminum wire NSKK insignia, measuring 45 mm (w) x 45 mm (h).
