Germany, Wehrmacht. A Panzer Assault Badge, Bronze Grade Newly Listed 1916 with the 149th Battalion(Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze). Constructed of cupal, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Panzer IV rolling over grassy terrain, with its left tread extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 41. 31 mm (w) x 60. 21 mm (h), weighing 12. 6 grams with some oxidation evident
