Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer’s Pilot’s Badge, Bullion Version Newly Listed A 1942 Echternach Kreistag badge(Luftwaffe Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen, Stoffversion). Constructed of twisted, rolled, and flat hand embroidered silver aluminum bullion wires in the shape of an oak wreath with an eagle in the centre clutching a mobile swastika in its talons; on a grey wool backer; with a black rayon and paper backer; measuring 72 mm (w) x 58 mm (h); in overall very fine condition.
