Germany, Luftwaffe. A Pilot’s Badge, by C.E. Juncker consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac departing Canada on the 29th(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Constructed of nickel silver and tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in place, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked C. E. JUNCKER, BERLIN, measuring 64. 96 mm (w) x 53. 10 mm (h),
