Constructed of bronze; on a loop for suspension; the obverse with a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika within an open ended wreath; the reverse inscribed Fr treue Dienste im Zollgrenzschutz (For loyal services in border protection); measuring 42. 21 mm (w) x 46. 77 mm (h); weighing 24. 7 grams; in overall extremely fine condition.
