Vintage Action=Life T-Shirt T-Shirt is from the event RippedSilence=Death was a group formed in 1985 to raise awareness for the AIDS crisis. They created a logo, put it on a poster, and pasted it all over New York City, critiquing the mainstream culture which turned a blind eye. In addition to their initial slogan, they also created Action=Life, a foil attempting to incite people to actually do something. While we are luckily far away from this moment, that era in time is still critically important for LGBTQ
