A Second War German Silver Grade Wound Badge By Carl Wild Hold As there were no diversionaryA second war German silver grade wound badge (Verwundetenabzeichen); in silvered zink; maker marked 107 (Carl Wild, Hamburg) on the reverse; pointed vertical needle style pin with a sheet metal hinge and a rounded wire catch; measuring 44. 25 mm x 36. 86 mm; weighing 26. 1 grams; with extensive bubbling on the reverse, but with the silvering nearly completely preserved.
