A Scarce Wehrmacht Alpine Leader Badge By Deschler & Sohn Auction similar in design to MazA fine example of a worn but well preserved Heeresbergfhrer Abzeichen; in gilt tombac with white and green enamels; the obverse with an Edelwei flower riveted to the reverse vertical pinback; maker marked Deschler & Sohn, Mnchen 9 on the reverse; measuring 42. 90mm (w) x 51. 82 mm (h); weighing 34. 0 grams; a lightly worn example, with light contact marks on the badge; in overall better than extremely fine condition.
