A Royal Military Order of St. George of the Reunion, Knight’s Cross of Grace, in Gold, c.1860 Archive entitled "The Sea Gallantry Medal"(Real Ordine Militare di San Giorgio della Riunione). Instituted January 1st, 1819. Constructed of 18kt Gold, consisting of a red enameled cross with crossed swords in the quadrants between the arms of the cross, the obverse center medallion presents a figure in Gold spearing a dragon on horseback, surrounded by a blue enamel ring inscribed Vinces in Hoc Signo, the reverse medallion presents the same central figure as obverse, surrounded by a blue
