Constructed of bronze, consisting of a Maltese Cross with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse with pebbled arms and with raised Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastikas joining the quadrants, bearing a central mobile swastika situated within dual rings, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a rounded catch, unmarked, measuring 56. 41 mm (w) x 56. 42 mm (h),
