Kneisel, Franz - Signed Photo Kniesel Quartet [ART] He created mainly concertos andAmerican violinist (1865 1926), founder in 1885 of a famous quartet (the "Kniesel Quartet"), a leading string ensemble in the United States in its time. Founded in Boston in 1885, the Kniesel Quartet moved its residence city to New York in 1903, and was finally dissolved in 1917.
