A Royal Irish Constabulary Cloth Helmet, c.1901 certificate_of_authenticity 12 mm (w) x 41A cork home service style helmet in blue cloth with black fittings, unique to the RIC, featuring a George V RIC blackened bronze helmet plate with red felt, measuring 76 mm (w) x 104 mm (h) in the center. Complete with original spike base with removable blackened fluted spike, and original fittings on the sides connected to the chinstrap of interlocking rings. The interior presents a thick leather sweatband measuring 50 mm, the interior is marked 19
