Austria, Empire. A Marian Cross Of The German Knight’s Order, C.1910 Auction Archive A 1938 Ludwigshafen am Rhein(Mariankreuz fr Damen am Band). Instituted on March 26, 1871. (Issued 1871 1918). A silver Latin cross with black and white enameled arms, the obverse with a red enameled Geneva cross on a white field, surrounded by a black ring of enamels, inscribed ORDO TEUT HUMANITATI in capital lettering, the reverse with a similar white field, dated 1871, surrounded by a ring of black enamels, maker mark stamped on eyelet, on a loop for suspension from its period
