Constructed of cupal, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a 1914 Iron Cross, surrounding a central bullseye target overlaid by a date of 1937 and crossed rifles, topped by a detailed depiction of the Kyffhuser Monument and a plaque bearing an inscription of WETTKAMPFSIEGER (COMBAT GAMES VICTOR), attached to a backplate with a black wool
