On his left breast pocket are a Golden HJ Badge, meaning that he must have joined the organisation before October of 1932, and two event badges. His district triangle, in all probability, reads Nord Nordmark. The reverse of the picture postcard is unused, except for a stamp of the photographer, H. Gumlich in Bordesholm (northern Germany).
