Prussia, State. A Military Merit Honour Decoration, Ii Class Medal, With Case Auction Constructed of a four-pointed silver(Militr Ehrenzeichen 2. Klasse). Instituted on 27 February 1864. (1864 1918 Issue). A circular silver medal, the obverse with an inscription KRIEGSVERDIENST (MILITARY MERIT) within a laurel wreath, the reverse with the crowned monogram of Wilhelm Rex, unmarked, measuring 39. 43 mm in diameter, weighing 22. 5 grams, on loop for suspension from its period replacement ribbon, and in very fine condition, accompanied by a period original case, constructed
