Bonheur, Rosa - Autograph Letter Signed 1856 Book showing him as Alphonse XIFrench artist (1822 1899), best known as a painter of animals, though also made sculptures in a realist style. Autograph letter in French signed by her, dated in Paris, July 17, 1856, to a client who commissioned a painting, stating " I have received your painting () not wishing to delay any longer to give you news of your painting, I have decided to send you this letter in The Hague. The lithographer has already begun his work". Size is 5. 2 x 8
