Veuve du Vernay Brut 750ml Rum Enjoyed the world overThis range of sparkling wines offer a taste of French elegance and style, and offer fantastic value for money. Named after a widow (veuve in French) in the village of Vernay who helped French boffin Eugne Charmat get his bubbly business off the ground. Charmat was the bloke who invented the cuvee close (sealed vats) method of producing sparkling wine, commonly used today. The palate on their brut sparkles is full with delicate apple and pear fruit
