The beautiful statuette is handcrafted from native raintree wood and finished naturally, which accentuates its charming appeal. The name Khan Kluay comes from the main character in a popular family film in Thailand that follows the journey of a young elephant in becoming a war elephant for King Naresuan, who once led the ancient Ayutthaya
